Sh2 157 on 2024-10-3,4,5,6,7 - THE LOBSTER CLAW NEBULA

Sharpless 157, the Lobster Claw Nebula, is a bright emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia at a distance of about 11,000 light-years. On the right side of this picture, about 1/3 down, is the open star cluster NGC7510.

This photo was taken in Kyle, Texas through a 4.5-inch f/4 Telescope, on a ZWO AM5 Mount, with a ZWO ASI533MC PRO color camera plus a dual-band H-Alpha & O-III Filter. The processing was done in PixInsight. The total image acquisition time is: 14 hrs 35 min 00 sec.
